Who we are
PrintFit is an independent web utility. This policy describes the public website. If you self-host a copy, you are the controller for that copy.
What we process
- Photographs. Decoded only in your browser. Closing or replacing the image discards the local preview. We cannot see the file.
- Saved dimensions and checklist progress. Stored in your browser only when you use those features. No photograph or filename is included, and you can reset the data inside each tool.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact page, Web3Forms and the receiving email provider process the message. We use it to reply, not for marketing lists.
- Server logs. A host may record IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and reliability. We do not use logs to identify people.
Cookies, analytics, and ads
PrintFit does not require analytics or advertising cookies for its calculators. If Google AdSense is enabled by the publisher, Google may process device and usage data as described in the cookie policy, and a consent mechanism will be added where required by law. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Local image processing is done on your device at your request. Email correspondence is based on legitimate interest in answering you, or contract if you ask for a specific correction. You may request access or deletion of messages we still hold through the contact page.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
